Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, 25380 State Highway 13, Manchester, MN 56007, collects through this website and how we use it. It covers this website only. It is not a policy notice for any insurance policy; ask your agent or our office for those.

Information you send us

When you use the Send a Message form on the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, whether you are insured with us, and your message. We use it only to answer your request and to keep a record of it. The message is saved in our website database and emailed to our office, and a confirmation copy is emailed to you. Please do not include policy numbers, payment details or other sensitive information in the form.

If you call, email or visit us, we handle your information as we do for any customer inquiry.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Turnstile may check your browser and network information for this purpose, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages are visited and how people reach the site. It sets cookies and sends information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type to Google. We load it only after you choose Accept in the cookie notice. If you choose Reject, Google Analytics is not loaded. The website itself does not use advertising cookies.

Maps and other sites

The Location & Hours page shows a Google Map, which may set cookies and send your browser details to Google when it loads. Links to payment services, agent login, partner companies and Facebook lead to sites we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We use service providers to run the website (hosting, database and email delivery from Cloudflare, analytics from Google if you accept cookies) and only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law.

Keeping information

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to respond and for ordinary business records, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what website information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing general@manchestermutual.com or calling 507-826-3425. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
