Accessibility Statement

Farmers Mutual Insurance Company wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Pages use a clear heading structure, landmarks and a skip to content link.
• All features, including menus, the agent search, the county map and the contact form, can be used with a keyboard.
• Text and controls are designed for strong color contrast and can be enlarged with browser zoom.
• Images that convey information have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
• Motion is limited, and animations respect the reduced motion setting on your device.
• Pages work on phones, tablets and computers.

Known limitations

• The embedded Google Map on the Location & Hours page is provided by Google. The page lists our address and a link to directions as an alternative.
• Payment services, the agent login and partner company websites are run by other organizations and may not meet the same standard.
• Some downloadable PDF forms may not be fully accessible. Call or email us and we will help you complete or provide the information another way.
